Sheri Pitzer-Chapman
President
Hi, I'm Sheri Chapman. This is my third year serving on the PTO Board. I am excited about the opportunity to be more involved in school decisions that affect all of our children and giving back to a school that gives so much to our community! My family moved to Woodford County in 2020 and have one son that is in 4th grade. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends. You will find us camping, boating and fishing.
Kim Fister
Vice President
Hi, my name is Kim Fister and I’m serving the PTO as the 2023-2024 Vice President. I have two kids at Northside. Braxten will be in fourth grade and Raegen will be in pre-k. My family has lived in Midway since 2017 and we have loved every minute of it. The sense of community at the school and the ways we can give back to the students or teachers is my main reason for joining the PTO. I wanted to have an active role with my kids and their friends throughout the elementary years. My family spends much of our free time “on the go” for sports and getaways. Making memories is my passion!
Samantha Nance
Secretary
My name is Samantha Nance and I am currently serving as Secretary for Northside PTO. I have two children who will be attending Northside this year in second grade and preschool, and a third future Thoroughbred at home! This is my first year on the PTO Board and I am looking forward to serving our school in that capacity to support our wonderful students, teachers and staff. Our family spends its free time outdoors with our two dogs, traveling, and renovating our home in historic Midway.
Heather McColl
Treasurer
Hi, I'm Heather McColl, Treasurer for the PTO. I'm a parent of a 5th grader at Northside and a 7th grader at Woodford Middle School. I like to read and garden when I have the chance. I also like to travel when our family schedule allows it. I am also the Cub Master for Pack 41 in Midway.
My involvement with PTO began as an occasional volunteer for the school but soon found myself becoming more connected to this great organization. I love being able to create opportunities through the PTO for fun and learning for students, teachers and staff at Northside.
Ashley Robbins
Parent Representative
Hi, I am Ashley Robbins. I have 2 boys Kelly who attended Northside, who is now going to be a 9th grader at WCHS, and Raylan who will be a third grader. I have been in Woodford Co my whole life. My boys keep me very busy. They are very involved in sports, so that is were most of our time is spent. I love being involved and helping out in the school. I am so excited for all the fun things the PTO has planned for this school year, and encourage everyone to get involved!
Mehgan Hoover
Parent Representative
My name is Mehgan Hoover. I was raised in Woodford County and attended Northside Elementary as a child. My son, Fionnlagh will be in 3rd grade this year. In our spare time we enjoy being outdoors. We camp, fish, boat and enjoy traveling on breaks. I also volunteer through cub scouts and partner with other organizations on homeless initiatives in Woodford County.
Missy Duncan
Faculty Representative
My name is Missy Duncan. I have been teaching for 19 years. I have two kids. Liam is going into the 7th grade. Piper is going into the 4th grade. I love all things outdoors and all animals but especially dogs and horses. 😊
Melinda Caldwell
Faculty Representative
Hi, I am Melinda Caldwell and I am starting my fourteenth year as a Library Media Specialist. Prior to having my dream job, I taught 3rd and 4th grade and was a stay-home mom for several years. I have lived in Midway for twenty-five years with my husband Todd. We have three children. Luke and Bryan are at EKU and UK, and MeiLi who just graduated from WCHS.
I love being outside whenever possible, running, hiking, or kayaking. If I can't be outdoors, you will find me enjoying a good book.
